The Boot Camp, aimed at helping entrepreneurs gain confidence in their startups, took place on July 31, 2024. It covered the basics of business planning and delved into crucial topics such as business financing, alternative financing, entrepreneurial law and IP, and marketing analysis. The event was segmented to provide a comprehensive understanding of these subjects, ensuring participants could strengthen their business plans. Led by local experts, the Boot Camp provided an invaluable opportunity for entrepreneurs to expand their businesses or get their ventures off to a great start.
The Casper Start-Up Challenge
The Casper Start-Up Challenge, administered through Advance Casper, is a highlight for new, independent businesses in Natrona County. This challenge targets businesses in the seed, start-up, or early growth stages, with exclusions for real estate syndications, franchises, brick-and-mortar retail, and corporate spin-outs..

The event, sponsored by First State Bank and Wyoming Capital Access, will feature the five finalists pitching their start-ups to a panel of judges. The Hangry Dog Food Truck will be on-site, offering attendees a chance to enjoy delicious food while supporting the entrepreneurs.
The public is welcome to join and listen to the pitches, providing an opportunity to see the innovative business concepts and support the bright entrepreneurs competing this year. The event promises to showcase the impressive talents of the Casper Start-Up Challenge finalists, celebrating their achievements and encouraging community engagement in the local startup ecosystem.
