Build Once Use Everyday Workshop Series with Matt Shepard

Build Your Claude AI Toolkit!

Build Once. Use Everyday.

Learn how Matt Shepard, Solopreneur, runs 4 businesses with the help of Claude AI.  As a general contractor that remodels houses, Matt creates a Gantt chart for each house that controls communications and delay notifications to all subcontractors involved.  Matt has been running businesses in Colorado for 15-plus years, and over the last two to three years he has been building AI automations into those businesses. He wants to share what he has learned with other solopreneurs, nonprofits, and microbusiness leaders.

Headshot for Matt Shepard

WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR Matt shepard

  • Fourth-generation tradesman. 30 years in the trades, started alongside my great-grandfather.
  • Licensed general contractor, 15+ years. Founder of Onsight Construction.
  • Real estate investor. Portfolio across Colorado and Alabama; founder of AMS Capital, my investment
    company.
  • Self-taught in AI. Went from the trades to shipping production systems in about two years.
  • Runs five-plus companies on the same automation he builds for clients. Nothing here is theoretical.

AI-augmented operations for small businesses. I build the systems that run
the recurring back-office work, so an owner-operator gets the throughput of a
much larger company without hiring three people. I’m a builder by trade, not a
software vendor, and I run everything I sell in my own companies first.
