Cyber-in-a-Box is a School Video Challenge that pays teams of students pizza money and t-shirts to make a cyber safety video. Cybersecurity is a community issue and getting students involved includes the family and the community.
In October and November of 2023, the Wyoming Department of Education, CTE Division, teamed up with the CyberWyoming Alliance to create a series of teacher resource webinars.
Teachers can create their own LEGO attack and defense models that light up and are attached to computers to use in your classroom. Use the model to teach your students the principles of Engineering, Circuitry, Networking, Python Programming, Cyber Attack & Defense. Teachers can access a variety of resources to combat cyberbullying and cyber harassment, including training programs, digital safety toolkits, and guidelines from organizations like StopBullying.gov and the STOMP Out Bullying. These resources offer strategies for prevention, identifying warning signs, and fostering a supportive environment to address online abuse effectively.
