Why a Video Challenge?

Cybersecurity is a community issue. In 2025, Wyoming citizens reported losses of over $25 million (FBI Internet Crimes Complaint Center) for less than 600,000 people in the state. These losses are for our communities and we need to have conversations about being more security aware.  When families discuss the wireless router’s password at the dinner table, we will know we have been successful!

How it Started

In collaboration with the Wyoming State Library and the Wyoming CAN (Cybersecurity Action Network) Committee, the Cyber-in-a-Box School Video Challenge was developed. Using videos made by professionals or students, it includes a monthly canned 10 minute program designed to be distributed at local libraries to increase cyber safety in Wyoming communities.

If your organization would also like to increase cyber safety awareness, contact info@cyberwyoming.org to get a copy of the program.
