WyoGives Day 2025 is finally here, the biggest day of giving in Wyoming! For the next 24 hours, you have a chance to make a direct impact on the future of STEM and cybersecurity education across the state by supporting CyberWyoming Alliance.
What’s the Goal?
We’re placing LEGO Attack & Defense Models permanently in classrooms, libraries, schools, and districts across Wyoming. These kits are more than just fun, they’re hands-on learning tools that teach students real-world cybersecurity skills through circuitry, networking, and even Python programming.
The Top 8 Wyoming organizations with the most designated donations today will each receive a LEGO Attack & Defense Model Kit for permanent use.
Why LEGO?
Because cybersecurity doesn’t have to be intimidating.
These aren’t your average LEGO sets. Each kit comes with:
A Raspberry Pi mini-computer
Lights, wiring, and sensors
A wireless router and laptops
Coding scenarios and cyber-attack simulations
Students build, connect, code, and defend all while learning essential tech skills in a fun, hands-on way.
Real Impact in Wyoming Classrooms
A teacher from LaGrange Elementary shared:
“The kids didn’t want to stop hacking! I came in extra days to work on it with the kids… They have at least heard the terms now and have a visual of how things work network-wise and security too. Better at making more secure passwords, understanding what a firewall does, etc.”
At Casper College, students modified the LEGO model to add 3D-printed parts and wrote new programs to control a LEGO crane, taking ownership of their learning and even improving the kit.
